It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Mohammad Ali Okhovat, a distinguished member of the Editorial Board of the Journal and one of Iran's highly respected and experienced members of the judiciary.
Dr. Okhovat dedicated many years of his professional life to the administration of justice, serving in various judicial capacities, including the Supreme Court of Iran. He was widely recognized for his integrity, fairness, professional ethics, and scholarly excellence. Alongside his distinguished judicial career, he made valuable contributions to the Journal's Editorial Board and consistently supported the Iranian Law and Legal Research Institute in advancing legal scholarship and academic excellence.
